There won't be, anyways the player model is headless.
This games, like many truly PC games, focuses on 1st person view, and thanks Nature for that.
So no, no option. Not the type of game we want to make sorry.
Yyou are really limiting your experiences in video games with that persective, *just* my opinion. 3rd person is great, but it depends on the game, Subnautica in 3rd person wouldnt feel right and tae alot of the OMG out of it
again, just my opinion
Your opinion is hilarious.
See, you could give a child options:
Do you want your veggies for dinner?
Or do you want candy?
Options are good, so never mind the child choosing candy each and every time, at least it has the <option> to take a healthy meal, right?
Gamedesign is the science or art of figuring out what kind of <experience> you want players to have.
Obviously, first person view was not part of the intended experience.
In short: The developers want us to eat our veggies.
People might feel differently and disagree, but hey, not all games can be all things to all people.
Time for input like this has passed now the game is no longer in EA. Just the way it is.
Maybe the dev's will patch it in so it's available for the rest of us.
