red eye peeper

Hello to all, is it me or no one ever found a red eye peeper ??

I was on the other day checking some caves and I found a deep one with a strange type of peeper, a red eye one, slow and zomby like peeper (strange thing )

No one of you ever see one ( is my game with a bug ) or is all ok and no one ever see it ??

PS, the location is that big cave after the red grass plateu on the direction of the island (200 deep) that go to 400+

Strange peeper no ?? really strange, I never got one thinking is not good to eat.

It is another variation of the Peeper. It's not too uncommon in the deeper areas.

As far as I remember, it's even better than the "normal" peepers for eating. (It's been a while since I caught one. It might have changed since then)

the cooked oculus gives 2 less food than a peeper, but more water. good for coming back from long seamoth expeditions.
