and ottomic is right (I hope) the bio reactor is slow for me, I have 4x solar panels at 0m daytime I can craft whatever I want but nightime ? my 1x bio reactor can barely hold my base energy requirements it's not very fast to create power
alien containement has also been made hard to find in the latest experimentals so it's not something you'll get early if you start now you may not even find it lol
in the final game it's probably not something you'll have early...I think...they are adding "broken" 3d models of everything including tools like the habitat builder and if the exosuit is anything to go by we'll probably have to find and scan everything we currently have unlocked from the start
now the question about :
yes it's kind of slow but that's actually a weakness you can outplay by ... numbers.
which is why i went up to 6 of them, you might say but it need fuel ye and funny enought a 2 ground sized aquarium is enought to resupply 3 well used bio reactors, so by the maths, atm i have 6 generator all fully resupply once in a while ( because ye the bio reactor are slow to product energy but they are also slow to consume their fuel ) by 2 aquarium both 2 ground size that's not kind of a big deal for a base :p
so it's only weakness ( which can be technically stopped ) is the slow producing of energy ?
and yes I just tested in my base at night where power was actually going down
1x bio reactor = -2power every 7s
1x bio + 1x nuclear = +1power every 1s rough estimation
and like I said big bases etc.. not something you can do now if you start a new game in experimental and are missing 2/3 of the stable blueprints....we'll see where the game is going but definitely not toward the sandbox we have now
