Hull Integrity of base?
I've done a couple searches for the errors I recieved but i started to add windows to my top level of the base (closest to the surface water) and suddenly I'm springing leaks everywhere. I figure its due to the windows but I guess I dont understand why windows in one section makes the whole weak and why at such a shallow depth?

If your base is underwater then their is a hull strength factor you have to take into account while building. You will notice whenever you add something like a window your hull integrity decreases depending on what you added. There are ways to strengthen a base which includes the use of reinforced walls or use of foundations. Everyone wants a huge base with all windows, but no one wants to deal with the leaks.

ill need to pay attention for the hull integrity value. i was able to add windows to one of my circular rooms and then the room where i have my bio reactor i have no windows and reinforced panels and that seems to have added the needed hull integrity i needed.

is there a better way to make structure above the water? so far I've only been able to take a connecting tube with ladder and add something above but i tend to get it at water level (which makes water enter the place) or one tier above the water and that's about it.

Where does the hull integrity value show? Its not showing up in the top left on my game anymore.

In one of the corners of the screen when you place something like a module or glass or doors and stuff it goes up or down

because its a single value for the whole base you can just dedicate one room (i make my bioreactor that room) and put reinforced panels on the walls and it will give a boost for your base overall so you can use glass elsewhere
Using bulkheads also helps boost base durability, though be awhare that you will have to go find blueprint fragments if you want to build them after the next update (unless you're on experemental, in which case you already know about this).

I advise just using foundations under the whole base, and putting in bulkheads and reinforcements in realistic locations. I've never had any issues with base integrity when doing that; my main base is at over +300 hull integrity and rising, and I have whole glass wings.

Actually, I suggest reinforcements in just a room or two with a few foundations for hull integrity. I suggest only a few foundations to get the hull integrity you need to start with but later on when you can easily get the materials needed, then you can go with reinforcements at that point since they provide the biggest boost to hull integrity. You should only really need 1 to 2 rooms full of hull reinforcements at the most.

You only need a couple of foundations and a reinforcement unless you're building a base really deep or you have like six moonpools in your underwater mansion or something silly.
I do have 3 moonpools and 6 observitories and a whole glass wing on my base. and like 30-40 generic rooms.
well its sort of glitched so yeah.... but try adding some reinforcements and bulkheads, they stop waterflow and they also add lots of hull strength
a recipie for one reinforcement is 1 lithium and some titanium, but they give you 14+ or 7+ hull strength so their worth it .-.

Well something is up as its not showing the hull strength when I asd new modules. For the record to, don't place floaters in alien containment tanks. They cause breaches.
