Screenshot help

How do you upload screen shots on dissussions?

You don't actually upload the image into the discussion, you just post a link to an existing screenshot already uploaded to your (or someone elses) online library.

1. Go to your screenshots library (online)
2. Right click on the screenshot you want to share, and "Copy Link Address"
3. Paste the address in your discussion comment. You don't need any type of "formatting"

Steam recognizes that you are posting a screenshot and creates the thumbnail image with that nice little graphic "surround" with text in it for you, but you won't see that until you actually post your comment.

Ok I found out how to find the locations of the screenshots but I when I take one it doesn't save in my steam library.

F11 saves screenshot to Subnautica's save location and F12 saves to Steam's save location.

Gah! Trying to get a non-steam screenshot into steam is a pain...

Anyway, go your Library tab and in your list of games, right click on Subnautica. Select properties. On the general tab, make sure "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" is checked.

I had trouble figuring that out at first too, I think when you close out of the game, a dialogue opens up asking you to save the screenshots you took during game. I just use the default screen shot button PrtSc and when I close out of the game, that dialogue comes up and then I have to confirm save.

Ha maybe you can actually help me xD and whant to change my Profile background again with Artwork etc etc and the Screenshot showcase, the Problem in the normal way i cant get any non Steam Screen uploaded(normal way copy screenshot or picture in the Screenshotfolder from the a game and then upload it via Screenshot uploader) so this way doesnt work for some reason, i can upload normal screenshots, but pictures that are not actually taken in the Game its just wont upload them xD maybe you have a diffrent way

The way I did the menu one is this:

• Take an in-game screenshot of anything but make sure you don't want to keep it
  
• Go to the screenshot folder and note (or copy) the name of the screenshot you just took
  
• Delete it
  
• Rename your non-steam picture to the name you noted above.

You may need to refresh or even exit steam and re-enter. After that you should be able to upload it to steam online.

This count for me not for you xD press F12 in the Game and everything is fine :)

Sadly this method dont work me too so then i gues new profil without screenshotshowcase

I still dont understand that english is a bit weird...
