You can see it here right upon starting. The area is pretty dark until I swim a few meters.
Now check out this one:

It looks fixed to me. :)
So V2.0 will be a big enhancement!
Like cause leaks and such?
Yes, if they bump into your habitat hard, like when dancing with you and your doughty PDS Seamoth, or fighting / chasing something else (ampeel?) in the vicinity of your base, they can cause some breaches. Just like bumps from the Cyclops, Seamoth, and PRAWN can cause leaks.
However, they will not deliberately ATTACK your habitat.
I have most often seen this when I was hiding in Seamoth under Moonpool or Platforms, taking gas torpedo shots as they presented. Reapers do not like that. If they notice you under there they will try to get at you. They generally can't, but if you are right under your Moonpool you may notice some breaches that need a touch up when you go inside for lunch.
In the case of Chill's ALZ base, I believe he was taking damage from time to time from Sea Dragon and Lava Lizard hunting fireballs, when they over shot a target. Hence, the barrier system he set up, to backstop such occasional shots.
IT is NOT recommended to take Sea Dragon eggs inside your habitat, however.
Ah that makes a lot of sense.
I assumed they couldn't do any dmg to habitats at all cause they never attempted to.
Seen a video even where someone based at crater edge with multipile ghosts basically rubbing against the base but no dmg was made (guess they didn't actually touch the base)
Just like sometimes your Cyclops can drift up against a portion of your base gently, without causing any breaches.
Otherwise gasopods would be knocking holes in my courtyard garden walls all the time.
(Which reminds me. I need to check those levels. They are empty and bulkheaded off, so for all I know they could have taken a few knocks and be full of water.)
It just destroyed my thermal plants, which was confirmed by Admiral, that their magma shot can do that.
Even Lava Lizards damage the thermal plants.
But they should not cause any leaks.

(Even though linking this one a source, he corrected his assertion as in the original you cannot damage power sources with the knife, even though you can in Below Zero.)
(I know that you aren't really saying they can't, Chill. I'm just re-iterating for clarity. Sorry I mis-spoke your Thermal Plant damage history. Did those damage incidents seem deliberate?)
It didn't happen to myself that a leviathan damaged a base to cause a leak.
But it's nice to know that there is a chance they do that. :)
