stalkers wont drop teeth

I give them metal scraps and the bite but wont drop. Is this a bug?

You don’t even have to give them metal scrap, they’ll find scrap on their own and mess with it, then loose teeth! Are you trying this with stalkers in captivity because that won’t work!

Just find a location in the wild where they’re playing with metal scarp and wait around. You’ll hear a distinctive chiming like music sound effect when one of their teeth breaks off, then go and look for it on the ground!

ok, i was doing it with a stalker really close to the aurora and now tried another place and it worked.

It can take a while, but usually they should drop teeth, regardless of location.

Scanner room works wonders for teeth hunting since they "blend in" on the seabed and thus are hard to spot.

Note : They drop teeth when they pick up the metal, not when they release it (as it should be imo). Doing it at night helps as well.

If you look around on the seabed where they are you can usually find them
It's much easier though if you build a scanner room
