What's the Use of a 900 Meter Walker If It Can't Come Back Up a Cliff Face?
I don't get it. The Prawn Suit can dive 900 Meters but it lacks the ability to come back up that far should be over a cliff face. It's kind of rendered redundant, or am I missing something here.

By the way Devs, this has fast become my favourite game. I can't believe the depth you've gone into. No pun intended. After all the time I have been playing it, I am still gathering new blue prints. I have a new found love and her name is 'Moonpool'.

Job well done.

You can equip a module to upgrade the jump thrusters on the prawn suit, or equip a grappling arm to spiderman your way back up a cliff.

Or just do the smart thing, and stuff it into a Cyclops so you can drop it where you need it, when you need it.

If Your Only Going 900m Then You Could Just Bring A Seamtoh With Depth MK3

Thanks for the tips. I appreciate it.

Edit: I haven't built a Cyclops yet. Are they really big enough to carry something as big as the walker? That would be swell!

Hehe. You have no idea.

Keep searching for parts for it. You'll love it. And remember to turn the engines off when you leave it or you might return to a dead battery.

Advice taken. Thanks mate.

you need to fully learn the game mate, before you do negative comments, this is the best game on steam in my opinion (of games i own and seen), and things you can do are pretty much endless, only bad thing are couple bugs that are present now for a long time and never fixed, and for me worst part of the game is its way way to easy, once you learn all the tricks there is zero challenge.... but still fun as hell, shame hardcore mode really means nothing... im praying each day then add more and more harder ways to play... with very low resource amounts and much more complicated receipes to craft stuff... maybe one day some fanbased mods will be released that do that... then game would be perfect, its near that already.. just invest time in it and play it...

Nexus mods has one or two that makes crafting a bit more complex. I haven't used them myself but they could be that lil something extra you're after.

What the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about? I wasn't negative. I was positive. I was putting into the game. I was even positive toward the advice given.

If we're going to wax intellectual on the subject, you were more negative than me, given that you spoke about "bugs that have not been fixed after a long time." Don't be waxing silly on me Thank You. I was merely pointing out something that I thought could help the game. You on the other hand, jumped in feebly to try and stand over somebody in the name of "authority" even though you don't have it.

I bought up a valid point and a couple of gentlemen helped me out on that valid point. You only came in to feel big and mighty.

♥♥♥♥ off.

K, yes you are unaware of a few concepts that will aid you greatly in using the prawn suit to great effect. If you do not have the jump jet upgrades you are losing out on 50 % thruster power.

That's not what I came here to discuss, do you have at least one grappling arm ?

I've spent several hundred hours in the prawn suit and have done extensive testing, don't give up man you can do a whole whole lot with the prawn. A LOT more then clunk around slowly.

So what kind of issues are you experiencing? A large vertical wall prevents you from escaping some area?

Whatever your issue may be, why don't you submit a photo or screenshot of the area you are having these issues in? That would allow me to recreate your scenario and post a solution with minimal spoilers.

I have nothing to show you without ruining elements of the game, so why don't you do that first, and i'll send you a video of a prawn suit in your situation getting out
DaBa Mar 18, 2019 @ 10:50am
I see it's already solved but seriously op, why is your first instinct to go complain in the forums instead of trying to find a solution for your issues... in the game itself? Why is it not your first instinct to assume there is a solution for the lack of the vertical mobility in the game itself? Some upgrade to the prawn suit, or a way to ferry it?

Wow, guys! Way to be helpful to new players.. sheesh.

Unlike others, I remember being new at the game, confused, and totally unsure what to do, where to go, how to proceed. Don't ever be afraid to come here to ask just because a few idiots have their heads stuck up their bums. There are others of us who will be just fine with answering your questions and won't be snarky about it, either.

You are gonna LOVE your Cyclops!

Yes you are missing a few upgrades that you can apply to the Prawn suit. You can grapple, drill, propulsion cannon, torpedo or Jump Jet with a bit of practice. If you get the depth modules Mk1 and 2 then you can go even deeper to 1300 and 1700 respectively. The Cyclops is a friend.

Thank You to those of you that helped.

Yeah I never understood the people that come in to complain about those of us that are trying to get a grip on a game. Before I knew about the grapling arm (which I am seeking out as we speak) and the jet boost, I was more putting my complaint to the devs in order to help the game. I didn't realise there was more to the Prawn Suit.

The game is horribly addictive. I'm an insomniac so it's come in handy during the twilight hours especially. As I was saying earlier, I love the Moonpool. Sometimes I find myself just launching and then docking again. Ha!

I do a live broadcast over 107.9 FM here in Australia called the Gaming Corner. I will be promoting this game on the next episode. I think this game is widely overlooked and I want to change that. I will drop a link when I am going live so you can tune in on the live stream wherever you may be. I will also drop a link for the recorded show afterwards.

Thanks again good people.

I didnt realize this until later but you can build power cell charges in your cyclops, and fabricators and even do farming inside it. After you got the engine efficiency mods you can charge batteries without losing power.
