Nitrox Mod Help

Okay so me and a friend got Subnautica free from Epic Games Launcher. We want to play with the Nitrox mod (multiplayer). We went through hell figuring out the setup but got it to work. Only problem now is, neither of us can connect to one another. I opened the port, 11000, as TCP. Server is running. It even shows in the game the correct name and ip but it just says unable to connect. Are we missing something?

Forward firewall port and address to proper computer. May require router reboot.

Share your external IP with your friend. If done correctly it should work just like this for every single game ever.

Did you install HAMACHI!!! VPN. If not it will not work as a server.

Just putting this here to help anyone else having this issue.... you need to portforward UDP NOT repeat NOT TCP
