nitrox server, can't see fish or resources. (epic games)

so, my friend and i got everything setup. we can finaly see each other in the server and stuff but there is 1 problem. we can't see fish or resources. i can hear the fish but can't see them and my friend can see the shade of the fish but can't see them either. anyone know how to fix this? thanks in advance! this is on epic games.
