Marble Mellon seeds?
Hello!

I was wondering, how does one get seeds for this plant? I have tried picking it up, it just picks the whole thing up, I tried hitting it with my knife and nothing happens. Do they just randomly generate when in a grow bed, or is there something else?

you get seeds by knifing it. Perhaps at a different angle.

if all else fails, drop it outside and knife it.

Don't pick up the marblemelon. Use your survival knife to slash at it and you will get seeds you can plant to grow new marblemelons.

I use the round floor planters. If it is located somewhere that makes it hard to get the knife to find a marble melon to cut seeds out of, (due to being in a crowded area), I found this to be an easy trick to get seeds:

Pick all the melons. Then once you have picked up all 4, you can replant one of them, and now it, by itself, takes up all 4 spots, and is a much easier target for the knife to find. Cut it and plant the 4 seeds you get from that one, and eat or otherwise dispose of the other 3.

I've placed some of these pots around the bio-reactor

and when I need hydration and food, I eat 3 melons and use the 4th to replant for seeds. Often I have difficulty positioning myself to allow the knife to find the remaining melon (due to the interference by the bio-reactor) if left in it's original spot, so I found the method above works quickly and efficiently, saving time and effort.

Ok you definitely should not be able to build fabricators on the surface of bio-reactors XD
