Where are the possible ways to get Heat Resistance?
How do you get the suit that lets you swim in the ILZ without dying a horrible boiled egg death?

It's called prawn suit.
I meant the wetsuit.
I have to repair the prawn sometimes cause of warpers more than the sea dragon lol.

The reinforced dive suit needs synthetic fibers, diamonds and rubber, I think you get it in wreck? I don't remember.
You will still take damage in the active lava zone, if I remember right.

Yep you still get damaged by temperature in active lava zone even with the Reinforced suit but i noticed its like 1 hp per tick (barely actually cause some ticks don't do dmg at all - Riley grunts, screen has the "heat" effect but no damage is taken)

Do you mean a random wreck of the Aurora?

One of the big wrecks that exist in the different biomes.

I found recipe for it from a Data Box in Bulb Zone in the wreckage that hangs over a cliff that has small caves under it.

The Reinforced Dive Suit cuts damage taken by 50% and increases heat resistance from 50°C (122°F) to 70°C (158°F). In addition to this it makes the player entirely immune to Tiger Plant spikes, but reduces swim speed by 0.95 m/s as a side effect.

Despite reducing damage taken by half, the Reinforced Dive Suit has no impact on the thresholds that trigger special attacks which instantly kill the player. As such, the suit affords no protection from the Reaper Leviathan's special attack when the player's health goes below 81, and it affords no protection from the Sea Dragon Leviathan's special attack whatsoever, despite the damage from their other attacks being reduced by 50%.

The suit's protection from heat up to 70°C (158°F) is still not enough to fully protect the player when getting close to lava in the Inactive Lava Zone and Lava Lakes, where the temperatures may exceed 90°C (194°F).

The complete outfit consists of a suit and a pair of gloves that when worn individually grant only a portion of the protections.

You get the blueprint from one of several databoxes.
Try exploring the pods/wrecks that I think of as the "middle wrecks", beyond the 3 central massif biomes, but not at the edges of the map or surrounded by leviathans.

The reinforced suit does lower the Reaper Leviathan's threshold for auto-kills from 80 to 40. As such, it adds an extra hit you can absorb at full health before dying.

Well wiki says it doesn't.
It just lowers the bite damage not the hp threshold which triggers the kill anim - that one stays the same.

But i guess this can be easily tested ;)

The Reaper only activates the auto-kill animation if its bite would otherwise be fatal. So you're never at risk of a OHK from the Reaper with the reinforced suit if your HP is over 40. I suppose this is an error or oversight in the wiki.

It can spawn in one of 3 wrecks - in the Bulb Bush Zone, one of the Dunes wrecks or (personal favourite due to lack of stuff that wants to eat my head) the Sparse Reef Wreck(s) - the latter is two separate structures, very close together, so make sure to explore both.

It gives you heat resistance to 70 degrees C, so while Riley will still make 'ouch' noises now and then, unless you go hang out right above a lava vent, you'll then be all set down there.

Ye the wiki article states that hp threshold for Leviathan kill is 80 and Reinforced suit doesn't change that at all. It's still triggered at 80 hp.

Only the direct damage is halved not the threshold at which kill anim can happen.

I think i will test this out later.
