Tips for a advanced subnautica player
I have almost 130 hours in this game. I've beaten it etc. I've had the game for almost 2.4 years. Any tips that I may not know?

To build a tall building you need a powerful processor :P

With 130 hours, you still have a lot to discover. Not at game-beating level, you have done that, but just exploring the pretty large game map and discover places you never knew existed. They might be useful to build a base in, or they might have cave system [the Mountains have a very extensive cave system, most of them so big you can build inside]. You might make experiments with creatures [there is one I haven't done yet, with the Treaders], you can give yourself goals about any aspect of the game.
The replayability is in the amount of stuff you can do on the planet, and if you like building, like I do, you might want to go that way and build bases in the most beautiful, or unreachable, places on the map. The west side of the kelp forest has a great cave system that's worth exploring and building on.
Truly, your imagination is the limit :) Have fun!

Thanks, I'll try some of this. The reason I haven't explored as much as I would like to is because I'm terrified of the reapers.

Reapers are only "in a few" places.
Avoid dunes, and places where you hear them.

The starting point is very rich in caves, put a scanner and look for sandstone and you will find it. Many of these interesting caves are easiest to find this way.

I played for a very long time and I had no idea how big the map is.
It's just that in some places it is as hollow as cheese, what seems to be a hollow is the entrance to the cave.

The starting point is very rich and beautiful, only you have to watch out for exploding fish.

I just am terrified of accidentaly going into their territory

You should build a base in reaper territory, that is very cool!

There is no reason to fear.
It is known that staying on their territory (especially in vr) is stressful, but there is no point in getting upset wondering if you will meet him or not.
Anyway, you say that you have already played a lot, so you probably know their places from memory.

I do. It's just they terrify me. I have thallasophobia anyway but nothing else scares me, just reapers.

If you have the prawn there is no reason to fear the reapers.

The advanced tips would be the various ways to kill the leviathans then. I know you have a fear to them, but many people have said over the years that killing the leviathans actually helped alleviate that fear, sort of as an immersion therapy of sorts. However, everyone is obviously different when it comes to those things.

Your options for killing, in order of quickest to longest:

1. Stasis rifle + habitat builder (stable build only)
2. Stasis rifle + gaspods (30 will kill any leviathan in the game)
3. Statsis rifle + thermoblade (Sea Dragon is immune to thermoblade, but you can use Survival knife)
4. Prawn with grapple + punching
5. Prawn with grapple + drill
6. Ramming with Cyclops using shield generator
7. Releasing Ampeels that you grew in the ACU near the leviathans

You can also track Reapers using the scanner room, so that can be helpful for making sure you're surprised in those areas. The other hostile leviathans can't be tracked for some reason.

Thanks. This might help. It might be because you are not expected to build a scanner room in the deepest zone

Scanner rooms are actually very helpful in the inactive lava zone. That region has every metal in the game, and it's the only place in the game that has loose basic metals like titanium, gold, and copper that aren't in nodes or deposits and can just be picked up. The scanner room makes those much easier to find.

However, they're not quite as useful in the active lava zone, as the only things there are kyanite nodes and crystalline suflur, along with some random outcrops near the western entrance.

OK. I'll try it. I got a new pc recently so my game doesn't run at 3 fps on minimum graphics in the kelp zone.
