Seamoth stuck on beach
Propulsion cannon does nothing. Repulsion cannon does nothing. Everything does nothing. Do I just not have a Seamoth anymore? Is there truly no damn way in this game to get the Seamoth off a beach?

you can turn its beacon off in the beacon menu. but otherwise here is what will happen next. once you save and exit the game. the terrain will despawn, when you reload the game, the seamoth will fall through the beach and collision barrier, and will be inside the hollow landscape. from there you can console command into the terrain with "warpforward #" command. then its a simple matter of climbing in and driving back through the terrain and out. hope this helps.

You have to use the console commands, it's a common problem. Probably someone else can give you the exact method.

Easiest way is to make a new one.

stand on top of where the seamoth is and use dig 5 or dig 10 command until you remove enough terrain, then hop in drive out and leave save and exit relauch game to re enable achievements.

Gather a lot of titanium ore and drop them around the Seamoth. Their 3D models may have a chance of pushing and knocking it lose. Try using your Prawn Suit as well, Grapple arm and Propulsion Cannon arms as well.

If all else fails, salvage your cargo and upgrade modules and destroy it with Prawn and rebuild it.

It's crazy how all of these solutions are ones that require exploits or literal debug commands. How on Earth did the devs not think to add a legitimate way to get a Seamoth off a beach?

I was able to nudge mine off the beach when I got stuck. It wasn't totally out of water and I could swim at it over and over, and eventually it rocked over backwards. Took a couple minutes if I recall.

Bad things happen dude. Learn from our mistakes. Beaching a wet submersive vehicle is an actual concern.

Thing is I made no mistake. I just drove up to the beach and parked. The thing was at least 3/4 of the way into the water, and in my past experiences I've always been able to just push it back into the sea. Only this time did it decide to get stuck.

I'm not trying to be obstinate, but I stand by what I said.

The first few times may have been fine, and worked out for you.

But it was never a wise idea to park your submserive vehicle to close to the beach in any of those instances. Driving a submarine into shallows is not advised for similar reasons.

Are you at the Floating Island or the Mountain Island? And which side of either Island is your Seamoth beached at?

This happened to me yesterday. I tried the solutions I found online and none of them worked. I had to reload the save.

Or spawn another one. Search discussions for a link to console commands. They can also be teleported elsewhere.

there is also the beckon call module, part of the expanded seamoth modules mod. build the remote, build the module use the remote and it will summon the seamoth to you. forgot about that one
