The only downside to Subnautica (obviously does not apply to speed runners) is that it can consume a lot of your time. So be prepared for that possibility. Other than that, the game rocks.

I'm a big fan of open-world survival games and I've played a lot of them.
Subnautica is still one of the best games I've ever played.

Well, compared to the early access phase there happened rather minor changes (like removing the terraformer) plus adding content for the storymode so that Subnautica has an ending in storymode and some additional tools like the prawn suit and the capsule system - where you can leave something behind for other subnautica players, which might help them survive (hope, someone found my package>>)

Subnautica is one of the games which freaked me out most, even though it's not really a bloody game. It has a very unique atmosphere.
Subnautica isn't extremely long, cause there are some limits to the aerias which you can discover. Still, if you don't understand the basics and what you really need, then this game can take pretty much a while.

In addition, if you play it on a high-end pc, then you can build a lot in the creative mode. But without the terraformer that kinda doesn't matter that much anymore, I guess.

Just finished it, 100% worth it. To say the least you can get your money back if you won't like it from the start, so why not to try?
