What does the original sound track do?
I would like to know if i should buy it but I have zero clue what it adds

It's a collection of music files to listen to them? Put them on your phone a USB or something.

It's the soundtrack for the game. You used to be able to find it in the game files but the devs removed the files and made it paid for some reason. I think you can find it on YouTube Music though
