LT RT reversed!

I ended up fixing it. I don't want this to turn into an argument. I only stated this to the dev's. not for others to fight over it. or to be told things by someone that is not helpful.
I fixed the problem to the reversed buttons by going into the controller settings in steam and turning on generic controller option as well as the Xbox one controller option. For some reason the game works perfect now. but... yeah... thanks for everyone's input.

Can you not just swap out the controls in the settings?

So you could just fix it yourself, but because it's a little confusing you just want the devs to do all the work for you?

Fixing the bugs I'm more than fine with (although I will never stop recommending this game, I have never done so without warning about the bugs), but this is such a minor one that can be fixed with a quick trip to the games settings I fail to see why it's such a problem.
More so when the OP admits they could have just done said fix themselves but instead feels the need to ask others to do it for them.

If the list of bugs in this game that need fixing, this one shouldn't even make it on until all other items are done. Which I would like to think could be within my lifetime.

Yes you are right. I could have fixed it. I probably shouldn't have whined about it. but come on man. How hard is it for the dev's to have patched this up real fast. I only mentioned it because it was so annoyingly simple to fix for them. I still love my underwater game. just wanted to point this out.

So long as you left a report in the game itself then it's far more likely to happen. Those things get logged so there's at least a record of them while forums posts just get lost in the mix.

I've had this issue too, but changing it in control settings just reverses the problem - LT becomes RT, but is now marked as LT, and vice versa.

The player can`t fix it. It`s a bug. It`s on the developers to fix it. Take your trolling somewhere else.

From what I read, OP is having a real bug - Iike the "consume" action for food is displayed as "left trigger action" but is actually triggered with the right trigger. Switching the triggers in the options would lead to the action being described as "right trigger action" but triggered with the left trigger?

OP, please confirm whether my understanding is correct (and remember, the better you describe a problem the easier it is to trace and fix.)

The player can`t fix it. It`s a bug. It`s on the developers to fix it. Take your easy fix somewhere else.

There, I fixed your comment. You got a word or two wrong.

If two buttons are doing each others actions, then swap them out in the options to whatever you want them to be.
Yes, the game telling you two buttons do each others jobs is a little irritating, but it's no reason to act like it's a game braking bug.

Yes you are correct that is what it's doing. However I seemed to have fixed it.
