Report a translation problem
You fit perfectly into a series of questions, that challenge faith that you've played the game.
But send a picture of this roof, it's very interesting.
The heck was with this random comment?
Translator problem again, my friend. Don't be so quick with the shotgun response.
He meant that he did not find the PRAWN Suit fragment that he expected to find hanging from the ceiling of the PRAWN Suit Bay.
@Gabreu2609,
I'm not absolurtely certain, but I believe that there are always enough PRAWN Suit frags in the Aurora to fill the blueprint. In fact, usually there are 5, if you are thorough.
Haven't been there in awhile, but it may be that one of them is in another locale, other than the P-Suit Bay.
PRAWN trawling spoilers below:
In any case, gather or make some fire extinguishers. Put out EVERY fire in the PRAWN Suit Bay. Then get out your scanner and thoroughly search every corner, crate, and crevice of the PRAWN Suit Bay that you can walk, jump, crawl or shimmy into, even if you have to climb up, climb down behind some stuff, and climb out again.
Keep an eye out for your Scanner to alert on something to scan. Also keep an eye out to the lower right of the screen for the "Scanner needed" icon.
If that still doesn't come up with the 4 major frags that you need, don't fear.
a. Keep an eye out throughout the rest of the Aurora interior.
b. There will be at least 2 wrecks that have major PRAWN Suit frags (torsos). One of them a fairly easy visit.
c. There should be at least 5 to 7 Claw Arm fragments scattered among several wrecks. Each of those counts as 5% of a PRAWN Suit blueprint.
Good hunting!
To complete the Prawn suit you would absolutely have to visit the Aurora, but it may or may not require an additional scan of other Prawn suit pieces.
Thank you very much.
In that case, I apologize to everyone.
I have to find another method, this one is insufficient.
There are also a number of Claw Arm fragments (5 to 7+) scattered in / around various wrecks that can provide 5% of the blueprint apiece.
And there is nothing that says one of those wrecks could not spawn a couple of major 25% fragments.
So there should be plenty of ways to complete the P-Suit even if you only get a couple of major fragments from Aurora.
My bet, however,is that if the P-Suit Bay in the Aurora is thoroughly scoured out , after putting out all fires, there will be at least 4 major fragments in that room. I think there have been 5 big fragments in there each of the 2 times I have been through the P-Suit Bay in the past. Some of them were in the middle of fires, however.
5x ruined PRAWN Suits / major PRAWN Suit fragments.
2x in the ceiling racks, over the pool of water.
3x on the flaming maintenance platform along the back wall below the exit to the Living Quarters.
Two of the P-Suits on the maintenance platform are entirely covered by the surrounding fires, so it is easy to miss one or both of them unless you put ALL the fires out.
It is also important to note that once a suit is Scanned, even if it was perhaps hidden in a nearby fire and NOT the suit that you thought you were aiming at, it will disappear.
In some circumstances, the player might not even realize that suit fragment was ever there, until the player looked at the accumulated blueprint percentage in the PDA.
