PDA map?

[General Idea]

With the use of scanner rooms and the players own journey across the designated playing area I am surprised that there is no simple map or ordinace survey map shown in the PDA system that slowly but surely gets fully revealed as the player progresses through the game. Perhaps when the player fabricates the compass then that should be an upgrade for the PDA?

I don't know if the devs will make something about this, but until the dlc (to see what they'll add) you can use mod, on nexus you have a mod wich do exactly what your asking for

There's a map mod on nexus. The scanners will reveal the section of the map they are in when you build/scan.

Yeah, I'm using the NexusMods map mod. It's made the game significantly less frustrating for me.
