How to create custom Picture Frame/Posters?
This is something I remember trying to do for a base of our's (Mine and roomate) in Subnautica, where I wanted toput some images of Libraries and bookshelves to put inside of a Picture Frame. I had tried to crop the image to the same dimensions of those used for Picture Frames, make sure I put them in the same folder, and ect. But I'm not sure the image I used was the right file type, jpg, png, or whatever must not have been compat because it didn't work.

And recently, playing Below Zero and using the Jukebox, you can add your own music to it, by dropping the appropriate mp3 file in the UWE Music folder for Below Zero and you can play your music in the game) I got the inkling and urge to be able to throw up a poster on my Office wall of the original JAWS movie poster design. It's "vertical" and would seem to fit the format, and then I got to thinking of several other Movie Posters I'd love to have up, some Horizontal wide screen format, some poster format.

And I realize I still don't know how to properly import, crop, or change images to be suitable to be placed in Picture Frames or as Posters. Does anyone know how to do this and would be willing to edumicate me on how?

Try taking an in game screenshot and editing the image file that saves in the save folder rather than trying to create a new matching one. That way you are sure to have the dimensions and file name right as long as you don't edit those aspects of the file.

Hey, very much appreciate the reply. I was hoping to learn how to do this myself, but this not only a good start on teaching myself how (or trying) but also better than nothing! Plus I already have a game room with picture frames, desks, and chairs made to look like I have many consoles to play and choose from so the video game poster mod will be useful.

Wish me luck in figuring how to do this! I'm gonna get that Jaws poster. Thank you for the assistance speedrunner041.

Do you mind telling me if you ever figure out how to add customs without mods?

No, but I'll give it another try this morning.

Now I just have to figure how to get the same to work for the Posters. I have to find where those are at.
