What is the best Lost River entrance?
I could use some advice.
I'm trying to find the biggest entrance into the Lost River. To use with the Cyclops.
So far I've found 2 entrances to the Lost River. Both are in the Bloodkelp zones.
One of the entrances (Bloodkelp trench) is so dark that It's like driving with my eyes closed. Very hard to navigate.
The other entrance (northern bloodkelp zone) is so narrow that it's almost impossible not to bump into stuff.

So I know there are quite a few ways into the Lost River and I want to know which one is the easiest to navigate.
I do not care about the presence of hostile creatures only how easy the navigation is

The northern blood kelp zone entrance is actually the least narrow of the entrances.

Bulb zone south of the mountain island is a large easy entrance.

This^ is the biggest, easiest, entrance to drive though. It's to the far east of the bulb biome north of the aurora's front. If you hit a reaper you went past it.

All of the ways in to the lost river will require you to go past a juvenile ghost leviathan (which despite being the smaller one is still bigger than your cyclops).

The northern blood kelp entrance is not narrow at all. Unless you worry about the branches, which are not an issue at all.
Of course I always kill the two ghosts inside before moving in with the cyclops.

I never knew there was a way in through the Bulb Zone. I only knew of 2 ways in, but then again I just discovered the Lost River recently through the tunnel near the Degassi Base.

I can't wait to check out the entrance via the Blood Kelp Zone, sounds awesome! Trying to get in via the Blood Kelp Trench is a nightmare, so narrow..

So, the only way to get some peace in there is to actually kill the Ghosts? I guess there's a first time for everything. :GreenStrain:

There's plenty of space in the Lost River where you won't get harassed by Leviathans. You don't have to kill any if you don't want to build right inside their patrol area. (And you don't have to kill them if you do either.)

Playing rodeo with leviathans is fun though.

You can try and cage it with seabase compartments or just sneak by them if you want. Killing them just removes the problem permanently.

The Lost River itself is pretty peaceful. I had no problems sneaking by / avoiding the Ghosts last time. (This time I will probably try to tame 'em, just for the lulz) :D

There are some tight sections along the way....but I prefer going down through the Grand Reef. I like cruising around the Sea Traders Path and then by the Degasi base where I can see some Crab Squids (love those guys) and down to the entrance of the Lost River where I only have to contend with one Juvenile Ghost, which is no big deal to get by.

The Bulb zone entrance is just over the hill of LP12. Stay to the west side of the tall cliff. the right side has a wreck worth looting.

Here's a diagram for easier location:

I should rephrase about the northern blood kelp zone. The entrance itself is not narrow that's true. But when you enter you start out in a room filled with trees/branches. Then to get down to the lower level of the Lost River (where all the interesting stuff is) you need to navigate in between all the branches and get down a narrow hole. That part sucks.

The branches are difficult to see, sometimes pop in when you're halfway trough, and the hitboxes are ridiculous. (Not bashing the game, it's just how it is.)

Thanks I'll check it out!

But you need to needle your cyclops through the trench if you want to feel good about yourself.

It can be done.

I know. I already did it.
I'm just looking for a more easy way.
