Surround sound would take things to the next level.
Do devs have any plans adding suport for surround sound, any info regarding this?
I belive this game would really benefit surround sound. And i really hope they will consider this.

Try a surround system the the razer one, its emulated and will make work.
If im not mistaken Subnautica has an initial config menu (first time you open the game), try to open it again to see if there is any config you can change.

Ok, for the record. Im not talking about fake surround. I cant find anything regarding this game supporting real multichannel sound. Wiki says it dosent suport it. Also checked several config files, nothing regarding surround sound.
I can agree stereo isnt that shaby, Some sound have a nice 3d effect, but it isnt real surround sound.Ps. Iv connected pc on to my home cinema and monitor. I need some proof you have multichannel sound. :P

The game sound is 3d because it was made in Unity, and all sounds in Unity (game engine) behave in 3d pattern, if you pc(as most do) send in stereo it will not make any difference, so you probably need some kind of sound emulator as in Razer Surround one.

You need to configure in windows all audio ports to send the audio, if you only send through 1 channel it will never be surround

My surround channels also do not play any audio whatsoever in Subnautica. Pretty sure no discrete channels are available.
