Make your own Cyclops dock
So I saw some screenshots of a player made "Cyclops dock" which obviously doesn't charge it or clamp on but basically just a set of tubes, foundations etc. to park the Cyclops in a neat little spot at your base.

Put a hatch right next to where the Cyclops hatch would be when parked. Put PC chargers right inside the hatch. Maybe have it between two moonpools for quick vehicle swaps. Have a storage room right inside also, etc.

Anyone done this? Have any issues with Cyclops physics interacting with the base or anything?

I know you can crash into it but I'm more worried about creating an enclosed space and wacking out the physics.

Any other ideas?

Share screenshots if you have any

I always put down enough foundations to accommodate the cyclops and the prawn when it deploys for parking. My current base is 34m below sea level and it was OBNOXIOUS getting the modules and foundations to build all the way up there but I love it. I've marked the corners with creepvines to light up the pad and everything.

Here's a screenshot (base is WIP - still deciding how to make it prettier). Yes, I have 8-9 thermal plants powering it just for the lights alone nevermind the water filtration or battery chargers. I had to use bioluminescence to save on power.

It's simple, but it works nicely. I also forgot to take a top down picture of it while I was taking all the others :steamfacepalm:.

With just two clicks up or down I'm in the cyclops or the base, respectively.
