Sea Dragon Leviathan question
Is this thing even killable? My previous fights like, for example, with ghost leviathan takes something around 100% charged stasis rifle and 1 battery, however that thing took me 3 batteries and still doesn't seem being close to death.

Preventing any questions like "why do you need tho": i don't like when some big fishes swiming around me or my base and always can attack me.

So you want no threats in the game at all?

Other games alway feel dead when I kill things.

I like the world alive and dangerous.

To answer, yes I believe it’s kill able but definitely not the intended way of dealing with them.

avoid them, dont want to fight them, then avoid them, dont build bases near big alien fish that just want to attack, in my last playthrough from pod landing to building my rocket and leaving the planet i didnt get attcked by a single ghost, Reaper or dragon. Stealth is key.

It’s actually really interesting and thought provoking how this games lack of easy kill solutions provokes such emotional responses from people.

I think it’s proof that we are really messed up.

Basically if something bothers you, kill it.

It’s even baked into our language “kill the engine”, “we killed em”, “killed a bug”, etc.

Y’all are a bunch of sick psychotic murderers.

Ever kill a large animal and have it die next to you? It might change your perspective, maybe not though, you’re probably already desensitized to death.

I didn't mean that i want no threats in game at all.
My point is why am i need to avoid those leviathans every time i'm going to lava zone if i can just simply kill them? Good example is Lost River. There is few good seabase spots which close to ghost leviathans and if you're not gonna kill them they will bother you forever for no reason.

And as many other people i'm playing games for fun and relax, not for permanent stress about stealthy am i or not. So there's no point in comment above since it's more of survival game without any moral part or choice, where you're gonna survive either be eaten. If you meant that

You can kill sea dragons with a Prawn suit equipped with drill and grappling hook. Grapple onto the dragon's abdomen and drill away for about 5 mins or so.

Killing horses and deer really isn't that bad, just saying. They actually taste really good too.

And get off your high horse, I'm sure you devoured almost all the residents of the safe shallows at some point or another... what a psycho.

Just because I disagree with you doesn’t mean I don’t have a point.

They provided plenty of safe places for a base even in the lost river. I don’t want a game so relaxed it’s boring. I also don’t want a game so hard like Dark Souls. Every game doesn’t fit every person and they shouldn’t. I don’t want to play Dark Souls but I respect it for what it is. I don’t ask that they change it so it fits me. I let those guys have their game.

Forever is a bit of an exaggeration. And I believe when you are inside your base they don’t attack you. If you want to build a base near hostiles and protect your vehicle, make sure to build a moonpool and park it when you arrive.

Yeah they don't, but still they will try to kill you anyways as you leave or arrive.

By the way i think that this thread is done since i've got the answers

If you want one in lost river find the blue brine tree cove. Completely safe.

All creatures can die in the game, for example I killed a reaper with my statis and thermal knife.
Make sure you don’t have no damage cheat on, if you do nothing in the world will take damage (creatures, bases, yourself, vehicles don’t take damage if you do have no damage on)

Bla bla bla, just build the base behind cover it cant get to you and go to town with reinforcements.
The real question is: are they respawning after kill??
