Still cant find Multipurpose Room Parts.

I have gone through about 7 hours of the game, the -alien gun destroyed that ship- , ive scavenged what i could from the beacon wrecks. I built a small base without the room in question, i have most tools by now (Seamoth, Laser Cutter, that kind of thing), but i need a large base, i cant keep making the floatation storage compartments. Did my game bug, did i miss something, because it seems like it should be like one of the first parts you can acquire.

I'd suggest you explore more, especially above water.

The room is not in parts, a structure you have to scan, it can be found at The floater island, Jelly shroom cave and Grand reef Degasi bases) the easiest one would be the floater island make sure you have a scanner with you, you only need to scan one

I feel so dumb, I didnt know that was a thing. Im not following any kind of guide. Thanks for the assist though, i managed to find Diamond and Lithium quite easily on the alien gun island, is that the floating Island, im not sure where its located i have no map.

You can get a map with no spoilers on the fandom page, it just outlines biomes and that.

Ive only found one island, and a portal on that island that took me to another island, i think thats the one you all told me about.

There's an island behind the Aurora that houses 3 abandoned seabases. There are also other bases with the same blueprints, such as in Jellyshrrom caves and the Grand Reef . If you want to find out for yourself, there's a PDA entry on the island leading to another location of interest, so keep looking!

Yes thats the Floater island it sent you to, the multiroom is located in the middle of the island, not far from where to portal brings you out, dont worry its a 2 way portal that stays on forever. And if you want to know why it's called the Floater island, jump in the water and look under neath.

i didnt find the room until 38hrs, and it was right under my nose the whole dam time i was just looking to hard and over looked it.
