Pathfinder no work

I made the pathfinder tool and it's not working. I put it in my hand and press RMB...nothing happens. The gun kicks, but nothjing comes out. Nothing appears. I don't see anything anywhere about how to use it. Maybe I'm doing it wrong ? Little help ?

You need to be underwater, does't work on land (caves).

Have you used it before? if so you might be out of "charges". the pathfinder tool can only have so many waypoints active at a time. If you've placed too many waypoints already you can't place any new ones. there should be a keybind to delete all placed waypoints.

Default keybind is F. Deletes all charges and gives you 20 new ones.
