LT - RT reversed

As state game reverse LT - RT buttons on my controller each time I start game. Literally it reverse them each time, I start game having RT strike, next time I enter game LT is strike, shut down game and re-enter RT is strike again.
I was wondering did anyone else got this problem and if so how did they got it fixed???

Тried it setting up options differently it does not help still stay the same. No matter how recheck in steam options controller still resets each time.

Well it's the 30th of August and they STILL HAVEN'T FIXED THIS! I did every single suggestion and nothing helps! The buttons are still switched and I cannot play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game anymore like this! DEVS! PAY ATTENTION AND FIX THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!

Unless they are properly split in two equal teams (which they 100% are not) they are probably much more focused on updating, patching and getting Subnautica below zero, instead on watching what they current fans want and help them.

They are focused on $$$ only. That's a fact. They're busy pushing their second game and are literally ignoring the controller issue with the first game. I've made so many reports to them via all of their outlets and they simply won't reply at all. They're definitely not getting my money! I refuse to buy the sequel till they fix the first one.

I just reset game since it is not long load. Dunno how below zero will be but I did not played it (i got both on some discount bundle) but I would surely be careful with getting "Below Zero" especially since it seems that from I am not sure will it be "copy paste" Subnautica with ice or something with story (since I hear they wanna put voiced protagonists)

mar '18: noticed the triggers were reversed. complained. aug '20: triggers still reversed. still have something to say? how about ping pong prawn? how about prawn cannot enter alien areas without getting stuck? wha, wha wha! the thing that pisses me off is newbies thinking that if they spam these forums, something will get done! they're working on more important issues (ping pong alien area has been around since nov "19). go watch walking dead! or deal. you are boring.

if you typed in (the search area) lt/rt reversed, you will see a lot of posts about the problem. it's why the search is there. it's why older posts come back up. it's why people who have problems can see that the devs ARE aware of problems. it's why spamming the forums is not a good idea. a simple search...well, not everyone can read. and i'm salty because you just found out that fire is hot. we know. the devs know. a lot of people know. just not you.

They still haven't fixed it. Messed up part about this bug is it happens after many hours are played, so you can't refund, and are stuck with a busted game.

There is a fix (some way) you need to play it using Big Picture. It's not great but at least you can avoid the problem.
