At the last degasi base, it says that Paul Torgal said "I saw a light below me and I hope Bart had swum clear." Does anyone know what he's talking about?

It's been left up to our interpretation. Some people think he was seeing a warpers flash, or the glowing eyes of the SeaDragon. There's been many theories but I don't think we will ever really know the answer.

I think it might be the lostriver because it's very close to the deepgrand reef

Bart did get free to my understanding. On the floating island or the jelly-shroom caves, there's a data pad that says thet they shouldn't have gone down there. At least I think as it's been a while since I've read them
