[Solved] Multipurpose Rooms Not Stacking?
Searched the forum and none of the threads are recent enough or help my issue. I can't stack mutlipurpose rooms on top of one another anymore and I started a new game with this current build.

Suggestions? Ideas?

First question I would ask are which game mode you are in. Then I would ask whether you were in the Experimental or Stable Branch.

EDIT: Fixed typo.

I'm in stable survival.

Also the only type of connection I can make with stacking them is building one with legs extended and I imagine that wouldnt allow me to have my old large fish tank that was multiple rooms high.

If you move it down a little bit, it should connect without legs and the rooms should be connected, normally.

Try removing the stuff inside the multi room. Most likely it is something that you built high on the wall that is preventing you from buililding the next level.

I'll try but the only thing in the room are glass containers.

Old bug and one the devs know about. When you constructed the first MPR, did you put anything inside (locker, etc.) or outside (windows, recinforcements) before building the second tier? If so, that causes an issue with the build. You need to remove any attachments from the first MPR, then you can stack.

Yea either you or dead-wolf there were right. I had to remove all the attachments outside, and for some reason it wasn't enough cause I thought this was originally the problem. Ended up having to remove 4 glass storages then it allowed me. Dont know why but it was really odd that it required me to do that.

I can confirm that the Multipurpose Rooms do stack nicely.

That's wierd because I've had stuff inside a multipurpose room and have always been able to stack it before.

But, yeah, if you move your mouse down a bit the two MPR's should stack. It works for me.

Yeah, I never had a problem with this until I just got back into this game. I ended up removing all the attachments (windows/hulls/etc) then it still wouldnt work so I removed all of the stuff inside (just 4 glass storage units) and now it works.... dont know why it never use to hinder me like that before.
