Uranitte crystals

So I haven't played this game in a couple of months but wanted to try it out with the new updates. Everything is familiar with new models and interface however I can't find the uranite crystals anywhere. I looked in the normal spots....the tall mountain island, deep caves. What do they look like now and where can I find them?

Uraninite crystals have a new shape now. They are no longer crystals. They look much more like other mineral nodes. Try looking in the Grand Reef or maybe the Blood Kelp Zone. Pretty much anywhere they used to be they still are but they look different so they are easy to miss.

You have to go deep to find them, you can find them in the Deep Grand Reef (The cave system beneath the floating island) and beneath that in the lost river you can find sizable amounts. They look rather like cookie dough with chocolate chips.

Bring a flashlight.. they are way harder to spot, especially at night.. heck even quartz is harder to spot. :/

They're usually in the caves below the Precursor gun or on the ocean floor in Large Deposits near the gun.

Or at least that's where i get mine.

if your really having trouble build a temporary scanner base then tear it down when your done. Also quartz is wicked easy to see.... at night it glows.

I made a base in the Grand Reef by the tall blue orbs (forgot the name) but there's a lot of Uraninite there!

grand reef is the best place to get them, I like to follow the sea treader path as well. Just be careful of reapers while you are down there!

and if you find a greenish biome down there, keep going, theres some crazy ♥♥♥♥ down there

There are no Reapers in the Grand Reef.

theres one I frequently encounter in experimental there, it may have chased me in there though, glitched reaper, who knows
