Relatar um problema com a tradução
Also, it takes 2 attacks for your seamoth to be destroyed by a reaper, so if you see him grab it, chase it down, drive to a safe location, and repair it.
If you have a stasis rifle, use that to immobilize him for a bit while you continue searching.
Reapers are not subtle, you can hear them long before you see them and they always stick to the same areas. Once you know where those areas are it's much easier to avoid them.
There's more than one area of the map (five in fact) where you can find cyclops fragments and only one of them if full of reapers.
Though one of them is instead full of bonesharks that will rip your seamoth into scrap if you leave it along for too long.
Finally. If you can find the parts and build a stasis rifle, this one item can solve most "problems" you can find in this game. You can also use it to shoot at the ground (or your seamoth), with a fully powered shot, to make a big ol' zone of NOPE(!) that you can work in without having to worry about what's around you for at least a good 30 seconds.
You dont need to go into any dangerous area for cyclops parts. You can get the hull and bridge fragments in the NW Mushroom Forest. The engine fragments can be found in abundance at a large wreck in the Floating Islands in the north.
When the reaper goes for you, move to the side and at the same time turn your seamoth to the other side. For example: Move to the right and constantly turn your seamoth to the left, so that the face of the reaper is always in front of you.
He's not manouverable enough to catch you if you do that, and after some seconds he will lose interest and leave.
It takes some balls to try this for the first time, but try!
Sitting here watching a reaper fold itself in half turning 180 degrees. But yeah, they can't catch you if you just run away in the seamoth. If you're just seagliding along, strafe, dodge, repeat.
Yesterday I had an epic scene in my game. One of my bases lies in the western area where there are many reapers around. I had chosen a relatively quiet place for the base and never seen a reaper in its vicinity, but the sounds of my prawn suit while drilling silicone and titanium must have attracted them. Suddenly I had two reapers swimming around my base.
I was inside and watched them safely trough the window pane, when suddenly one of the reapers went for my prawn suit. It came down, grabbed it and started to play with it, just like the stalkers do with the scrap metal.
"Nooo!" I ran outside and looked for the signal of my prawn suit which was more than 100 m away already. I dived to that place, two reapers above me. I stayed close to the ground and in cover behind the rocks. When I arrived where the prawn suit had been, the reaper had taken it to another place already.
Luckily I am well equipped with regards to breathing air and swimming speed. After three minutes of playing tag with two reapers I managed to get into the suit or what was left from it (14%) and escaped.
My heart was beating heavily, but I was so proud of myself. I had taken the challenge and won.
Hands off my prawn!
