I tend to collect a ton of titanium throughout my playthrough, knowing I'm going to need a lot of it to build the cyclops and the various pressure compensators for both the cyclops and the prawn/seamoth.
The best place to find it is in the safe shallows and the kelp areas, or in and around wrecks. But it's all over the place, really.
I hope that helps.
There's safer ways to do that tho. No need to play with reapers.
no need to go into the deep with the reapers.... there are like 3 wrecks in 20-60m around the west side of the ship
There's a wreck (don't know coords) with somthing like 50 titanium.
Seriously what were you doing that needed 150 titanium? building 3 simultaneous cyclopes?
You can see the trash metal pieces from a far distance, exit your seamoth, and just "mow" one by one with your seaglide...you can get alot of them in a few minutes
biggest problem is, to have enough storage space avaible (seamoth upgrades VERY useful)
Behind the Aurora (the engine side) they have updated the map, there may be a reaper around, but it is a gold mine for titanium.... easily fill 20 lockers in a cyclops within the hour.
As well as locations mentioned here, I also find the Dunes are a great place to get scrap metal.
I recommend you to build a scanner room.
