Titanium is by far the most plentiful resource in the game. It can be acquired through limestone outcroppings, with a chance to get either lead or copper as well. Metal salvage can be turned into 4 titanium in the fabricator, and is by far the easiest way to acquire large quantities. Also, fragments of blueprints you've already found are turned into 2 titanium when scanned.

I tend to collect a ton of titanium throughout my playthrough, knowing I'm going to need a lot of it to build the cyclops and the various pressure compensators for both the cyclops and the prawn/seamoth.

The best place to find it is in the safe shallows and the kelp areas, or in and around wrecks. But it's all over the place, really.

I hope that helps.

I know its plentiful but I need like 150 of it, fun times...

Yeah, we've all been there. It's not as big of a deal if you're constantly collecting it as you go.

In general I just expand my area of exploration after one area is mostly barren.

There's safer ways to do that tho. No need to play with reapers.

no need to go into the deep with the reapers.... there are like 3 wrecks in 20-60m around the west side of the ship

was hoping there was a place to take out my prawn suit and mine titanium like i'm doing with copper and silver on the dunes. :/ ah well.... item titanium # till i fill my titanium lockers is still the best solution for balancing the tediousness and enjoyment of the game.... really item [resource] has been a good step after using nocost to bridge the difficulty gap between creative and survival modes. these survival games are fun when you use cheats to get over the initial difficulty wall of starting off with nothing.

the grasy plateaus bordering the msuhrooms and the aurora is where I go.
There's a wreck (don't know coords) with somthing like 50 titanium.
Seriously what were you doing that needed 150 titanium? building 3 simultaneous cyclopes?

grassy plateaus and dune areas...the more sand, the better.
You can see the trash metal pieces from a far distance, exit your seamoth, and just "mow" one by one with your seaglide...you can get alot of them in a few minutes

biggest problem is, to have enough storage space avaible (seamoth upgrades VERY useful)

Since this is a necro, I will UPDATE my information.

Behind the Aurora (the engine side) they have updated the map, there may be a reaper around, but it is a gold mine for titanium.... easily fill 20 lockers in a cyclops within the hour.

I find that just collecting scrap metal as you go is a great way to build up your titanium stockpiles. Even early on, when you don't have storage space, just dump all the scrap on the sea bed under your life pod.

As well as locations mentioned here, I also find the Dunes are a great place to get scrap metal.
