This game is complete, and well worth the price. I easily recommend it over the unfinished sequel.
I have enjoyed what i've played of Below Zero so far but the original Subnautica is a finished game that will give you a far longer and more enjoyable experience so get that one if you only want to buy one of them.
I have faith that Below Zero will end up being a great game like the original Subnautica but in it's current state.. it's nowhere near finished and it cannot provide the same experience the original Subnautica does.. so buy it only if you're willing to accept that.

...But not a moment before.
Original Subnautica environment is very nice. Seamoth and Cyclops are more fun than Seatruck.
It's probably individual but cold dark blue sea cannot compare to the beauty of Safe Shallows, Lava Zone...
The original Subnautica goal is to cure yourself and leave the planet. Im waiting for release of Below Zero but the plot and protagonists were boring year ago. But I give it a try ;)
