Cyclops dying while off
I get to my location Cyclops was at 80% I turn off the engine kill all the lights nothing is charging I come back a while later and its at 2%.
Am I doing someting wrong? I even have an engine efficency mod.

Edit: The only thing I can think of is that random stuff might be hitting my cyclops and it takes battery to heal? (I don't know if thats how it works)

Did you leave silent running, forcefield or anything else on? They will drain power as well.

Were there any lava leeches attached? They drain power

I dont really know the names of anything, but the place where my cyclops was parked didnt have anything noticible it was just water, but the area below (like 500 meters) had acid looking stuff and then deeper lava. But that wasnt where the cyclops was

Ive never had that happen so I am inclined to believe you made a mistake without knowing. You do know docking vehicles drains the cyclops to recharge them? Do you have a power cell charger on the cyclops? They drain an equal amount of power from the engine so using them on the cyclops is pointless

The only things my cyclops has in it is a fabricator and a big locker. There was no vehicle in the cyclops because I was using the vehicle.

I think you left the lava zone with a couple lava larvae hitchhiking.

But I had just gotten back to my cyclops which was very far from lava zone and it was already at %2
Do they drain power instantly?
And wouldnt they be draining power from my prawn suit?

Not instantly but if there's enough very fast

I agree. If you checked everything else is for sure off then only thing is vehicles really low on battery. Remember Prawn has two PCs and Cyclops 6. So if prawn is empty it's gonna take down two PCs to fully charge which is like 33% of cyclops total power.

And with enough lava larva they can drain prett quick. Check all sides front and back top and bottom. Prop cannon works good or knife em to death

Or I think I quick shield blast will knock them off but then you gotta move or they just come back. So that's really only good when you're travelling.

let me just restate this.
I go to a place that leads to lava im very high up no where near the lava.
My cyclops is at 80%
Prawn was already charged at my base
I turn off all the lights and engine I dont have any other things in my cyclops besides fabricator and large container
I get it prawn suit drop down like 400-500 meters
I come back a while later I get out of my prawn suit and go restart the cyclops engine and its at 2% so its not even charging the prawn suit and theres no way that lava bugs were on it 400-500 meters away from that biome.

Do you have a power cell charger in there? Did you leave on rig for silent running?

The fabricator might be draining the battery. It does if you craft things. I don't think it has a passive cost, but it can't hurt to remove and check?
