What's the EASIEST way to come back to the primary containment facility (emperor's facility)?
Ok, I finally ended the game... at least the story. I wasn't gonna come back so soon but I couldn't help it... I am here again.

I beat the game trying to do everything so fast that there's a big mess in my head with the teleporters. I want to come back to the last facility because I want to get more cubes. I knew I would need more so I tried to get as many as could but I wasn't patient enough.

But I barely remember all those teleports. I used none of them to come back, because I tried to do it with the cyclops... I couldn't laeve it behind.

I am tired of fighting giant monsters. I just want some peace now, build my base, upgrade my stuff, and enjoy these vacations. Can you please help me to get there easily? What teleport is the best and how should I find it?

P.D.: Getting there with the cyclops and coming back without the thermic charger was a HELL, a really, really FUN hell but a hell nonetheless. What an adventure, guys... I will remember it forever. I got lost, I almost was eaten many times, the leechers almost killed my cyclops a lot of times, I had to turn back between rooms many times because I forgot items, I had some problematic bugs in the end that almost broke my game... but here I am. This has been one of the greatest experiences I had in videogames. I got the game for free in epic (yeah, I didn't know it existed). Of course, after this I have bought below zero. That will be the next adventure, but I will wait for it to be released.

If I recall correctly, the big teleport on top of the alien facility that is below the giant alien defense platform leads to one of the chambers inside that facility

I'll try now. Thanks for answering so fast.

I don't take the cyclops all the way down there any more. I park it near the quarantine facility.

More specifically, I use the prawn to go to the thermal plant and to collect kyanite for more depth, then teleport up to the portal inside quarantine gun building. (where my base or the cyclops is.) When I am ready to go back down, I use the same portal back to the thermal plant and continue down to the primary containment facility, build a small base with a fabricator outside the building, and when I am cured, return using the teleporter that the empress opens in the large tank to the portal below the alien moonpool.

To go back later, use the portal in the NW mushroom forest or the one behind the waterfall in the lost river. The other two are too far away usually.

I couldn't know it before... I'll try to do it next time.

Oh, by the way, I just tried the teleport you said but it brings me back to the thermal plant. Isn't there something closer? I really don't want to deal again with dragons... At least not for now.

The portal INSIDE the building goes to the thermal plant.
The one outside at 150 m or so goes to the empress tank

The other four portals that go to where the ion cubes are manufactured are in the NW mushroom forest, behind the waterfall in the lost river near lifepod 2, way down at the southern tip of the map and far to the east of the Aurora in the bulb zone.

BTW major spoilers in this thread. You should edit in a warning.

Do you have some reference to find that portal? I can't bring the prawn into the caves where I remember some kind of portal and I never tried to see the end of the way when I was getting the ingredients for you-know-what.

PD: Doesn't matter, you were precise: Below the gun. Found it. Thanks.

Question for a first time player: can I can my prawn suit through the teleports? I took it down to the facility (because who wouldnt) but I dont want to make the trip back with it, if i dont have to.

If the need arises, im not opposed to sacrificing it to the Sea Dragon and just making a new one, but the resource gathering would not be fun

Coops is right. In the last pool there's a portal that leads to a place close to the mountains, next to the facility. You can bring the prawn through that portal and get back home very easily, leaving the cyclops behind. That's what I didn't want to do.

If you're inside the but building you'll come across a giant bay that kind resembles a giant moonpool going in to that water you'll see what looks like a barrier It keeps the sea creatures out of the bay but player can pass through it and when you do you can easily see the teleporter that leads into the emperor's tank. Fun fact that giant moonpool like space is big enough to park a cyclops in

Thanks a lot. I heard they are already working on subnautica 2. They say the map will be much larger. I hope we can get such a base that we can park a cyclops on its moonpool. It would be so cool...
