I would check on Nexus to see if they say they were updated for the big little update and then one after that. Older than Nov 5, 2019 and that may be the reason.
Not sure about the log file.
Edit:
If you open the game to the main menu and pick mods in the options tab, you can enable debug logs. I don't where they might be located though.
Are they really created? Do they really work?
I installed about 90 mods so it would be painful to check individually which one work or doesn't :(
Edit;
I found somebody posting error logs on the nexus... Still can't find anything.
So, I took my courrage and started testing mods !
I found the 3 mods which were causing loading issues (it was the tech pistol, restored modules and egg info for alien containment) but I realized I cannot use the crafting station of the life pod anymore (nor the station inside the cyclop, the one near the reactor)
So, it kinda breaks the game =/ Makes it impossible to play.
Any idea what could prevent that? There is no error at all so...
Also, if I craft a station, it works just fine, no issue... but the station inside the cyclop and life pod... nope, the hand icon doesn't even show.
You may find Qmod Sam helpful
https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/262
You can turn mods off and on easily. And it will flag conflicts and missing dependencies.
Yeah I know, Subnautica modded to the limit... right? XD
I played it so much without mods now I gotta catch them all !
It was a blast without mods so now I'm wondering what will be my experience with them.
(the mod I'm the most excited about is the nitrogen bend mod... The feature scrapped by the devs which should never have been scrapped !)
Now I wish there was a mod for the hatch... Filling the room with water when you leave / enter instead of that slightly weird animation.
Anyway, I got a lil lucky here and found out the deconstructor was the issue and not updated for the big little update...
Everything is working fine and as intended now !
Last question though...
Can you use Qmod SAM to deactivate mods to play nitrox or you really need to uninstall Qmods completely to use nitrox / uninstall nitrox to play with the mods again?
I have 25 mods but never used any of the ones mentioned in this thread.
lol ! Well, thanks anyway :)
