Worried I might be overharvesting table coral
I've noticed places where I've broken off table coral in the shallows haven't grown back yet. Anyone know if these have a regrow rate?

I don't know if they do but the mushroom forests have a fair bit you can gather. Its more of a blue/purple than red.

I am pretty sure that no table coral grows back accept for when you can find it on Reefbacks

There's tons of it out there. Good luck overharvesting it, you'll need it.

You can also find other colours (same use just a new look) of it in other biomes than just the safe shallows. Yes, even the undergound places.

Finally it can turn up on the backs of reefbacks. So every so often a new reffback will pop into existance with even more on it (as respawning goes, this is a very unreliable way to find more of it though).

Though as pointed out by Craftfly, it doesn't normally respawn.

yeah it doesnt respawn since coral takes a very long time to grow in real life. (I believe that was the devs reasoning if i remember right.) but likes others have said there is plenty of the stuff on the map in various places.

Table coral is used for computer chips, scanner rooms and fabricators.
Unless you plan on making enough computer chips to get your own server farm going and start mining crypto currencies, I don't see how overharvesting could ever become an issue...
