Any way to get markers back once a location is discovered?
I followed a quest beacon/marker to an old habitat that had some goodies inside that I wanted but I had to flee the scene before I could investigate due to a Reaper Leviathan attack. I want to go back there now to get the stuff, but the marker has disappeared because I've already visited it once and I can't for the life of me find it again blind.

Is there any way to get that quest marker/beacon active again, or is that particular location lost to me now?

Most of the beacons that the game gives you are in your PDA. You can turn them on and off and even change their color.

I'm trying to recall any old habitats that had Reaper leviathans anywhere near them.

Even the quest ones from the radio? How do I switch them back on then please? They aren't in the beacons section of my PDA - that only has my bases and the beacons I've personally laid down.

The Degassi base near the Aurora. Its in a deep trench somewhere, but God knows where now lol

Lifepod beacons should be in your PDA. If you are looking for life pod 4 or 6 there are no beacons for those. They are described in your codes and clues on your PDA. Lifepod number 4 is just outside the Aurora right along the ridge between the grassy plateau and the Crash Zone area.

It might help if you actually tell me which one you're looking for. By the way the life pods are not habitats the only habitats in the game other than yours along to the degasi. Or at least they used to.

I believe you're referring to the Degasi 500 base. The only way to get that marker is to get the PDA from the area around the degasi 250 base

Without the PDA entries you will have no marker unless you leave a beacon. In this case the Reaper is 500 M away roughly. In that area there is something called a ghost Leviathan that you might be referring to but he is nowhere near the habitat

quest markers from a Radio message (aka, Signal) need to be equipped for the marker to appear in you HUD. Check your inventories to see if that Signal is stored somewhere.

I just realized what you might be talking about. Are you referring to the Sunbeam Landing site?

Oh, just gone back into the game and the quest markers have reappeared in my PDA now. Just need to switch them back on, like you said. Problem solved.

Thank you very much for your help! :)

No I meant the 250m Degasi base. But the markers are back now in my PDA so all is good. Thanks!

Yeah it was probably just a delay. Update to your PDA Lord knows subnautica can be quite finicky sometimes LOL
