Picking up stuff with prawn

I noticed you can't pick stuff up with your drill (which is logical). But I recently got grapple and plan on using them at the same time. Does this mean I won't be able to pick stuff up?

Yes you have to choose. Both slots can be used normaly but to pick up stuff (not drilled) requires 1 free slot.

Or just get the Jetpack and use the cyclops for transport.

don't equip any tools on the prawn arms, you will then have a claw, click the claw arm to pick up stuff ( only if you have the storage space ). I use drill arm and default(claw) arm for drilling trips.

The drill arm now automatically puts items in the prawn's locker when you drill a deposit
But if you want to pick other things up you need the normal arm
I transport the prawn in the cyclops and equip the arms I need for certain jobs
