How did I magically get a "thermoblade"?

Pretty new at the game, and loving it to pieces. However, I noticed while playing my current save today, I'd wound up with a couple interesting things in my inventory I hadn't noticed. First of all, I had two scanners instead of one, two laser cutters instead of one, and a "thermoblade", which is great, but I don't know how I got it. I don't have the modification station yet, even.

Did I somehow pick this up on one of my adventures without noticing it, or did the save-game bug out, or what?

You prolly got them from mystery capsules other players left behind when they finished the game.

I did. Aha! Is that... I guess that's a thing, and I didn't notice it gave me stuff. Cool! Bonus knife! :)

TIme Capsules will sometimes give useful stuff from players who finished the game. You can also leave one yourself once you complete the rocket.
