I always give "less polite" answers to these kind of questions, but at the moment (damn politics in game thread) they are also welcome!

Sorry, but it's single player only!
On the store it has a mp tag but that is made by community and not the devs!

There's really no reason for Multiplayer or Co-op.

Game would have to be re-designed to make things for people to do together.

Even if they somehow allowed it now in the current game it's a total waste as people would quickly learn it's just not fun multiplayer.

What are you gonna do help your friends collect resources? Why? Go collect your own. I don't get it.

Could you imagine the performance impact of the game trying to render the world around two different people?

Here's a list of things you could do.

1. Show your friends your stuff. Dumb.
2. Show your friends where to find stuff. Dumb.
3. Help a friend collect stuff. Dumb.
4. Play seamoth chicken. Ok maybe.

I really just don't see it without adding a ton of stuff to the game and changing the whole story.

So I don't think so and I vote no.

I only saw some of the videos and my girlfriend likes this types of games but she does not play singleplayer games thats why I asked dont get mad at me :P

There's no reason for her to ~not~ like SP games considering the vast amount of them out there. To play only MP titles is very limiting on her gaming experiences.
