The punchy-grabby arm is better at killing the dragon than the drill. It will still take a lot more hits than you'd like.

I tried the drill on the leviation thing and it had little affect. It ended up destroying the prawn suit. However I hear drilling and punching works fairly well.

1. You have to take breaks to repair.
2. It doesn't. Grappling and punching does.

Just use the stasis rifle and thermoblade. You can kill everything in the game with that combo pretty safely. Just make sure to have a vehicle nearby to pop in for air (and maybe food/water because it can take a while).
