STUCK WHILE DOCKING TO CYCLOPS!!!

I know I'm posting alot, but my prawn suit got stuck while i was docking into my cyclops, I can't get out or anything...

Happened to me once. Quit and reload. (or save, quit and reload, hope to God that fixes it)

My controller glitched once and I could only look up and down, but couldn’t move forward or back. I went into the menu and hit “default button assignments” in the controller menu of the game. That fixed it.

I came to this thread before quitting and reloading. Why would I save my game, potentially locking myself into the glitch forever, before checking the forums? Derp.

Fcking hell. I did what ya'll said (Save and quit and reload) and now it's flying everywhere and i cannot get out or stop it !!! Now i lost a whole cyclops with mk2, my prawn with mk1, basicly my whole process. Btw my cyclops was my base and have 1 actual base with only power cell charger and bioreacter.

i tried this and when i loaded in i bounced around from side to side in the cyclops several times and died.
i play hardcore mode so i'm not happy about this glitch!

Happened to me just now with the latest patch. Luckily I didn't get killed and the Cyclops just took some minor damage after bouncing a bit. This happened to me when I tried to dock in with prawn but the gates closed just before I did, so I just ramed in, got stuck then saved and reloaded.

It is probably too late, but...
For this kind of error, I would go with "Quit, get completely out of game, restart game from the last PREVIOUS save!"

I would NOT save after the errant behavior was occurring, even if it meant losing some progress.

For anyone finding this in 2023+, I had this bug occur.

-Was unable to Save or "Unstuck" for ~1-2 minutes.
-After that time, I was able to Save game while still stuck.
-I backed up my previous save, then did a Save while stuck.
-I restarted the game and loaded, and was unstuck.

I really didn't want to lose the hour+ of progress so I was glad this worked. Hope it helps someone.
