Is there any way to remove monsters?
I know this game is supposed to be scary, but it's just way too scary for me (yes, I'm a wimp). I played for like an hour then had to get a refund as I couldn't go on.

Is there anyway to remove hostiles/leviathans so I can enjoy the story/survival/exploration without fear of something jumping out and ripping me to pieces?

I know the 'invisible' command but I heard they still attack if you're in a sub etc, so that's not viable late game.

Any mods? Commands? Anything? Help?

This game is supposed to be scary? It's a relaxing stroll in the water park.... :steammocking:

How are you going to enjoy the "survival" if you remove the things you are trying to survive from? Just wanna swim, eat, drink and explore? That sounds horribly boring. Your only option is invisible mode. I mean I confess I am really confused about how this game can be too scary for anyone but to each their own.

Funny thing, i have a diving license, but i hate deep water, so subnautica gives me shivers all over ^^ But after a few hours im really getting used to it, because the most creatures which would really attack you normaly give their position away WAY before you see them. You can hear them or spot them, only pain are the warpers ^^

That said... after 15 hours in game i killed my first reaper because he "molested" me all the time i wanted to gather materials in that area... You dont need to kill the animals, but you can defend yourself with various devices and if they really start to piss you of you just can whipe them with some preperation.

What kills you most at least at the start are food, drinking and air, this would still remain in an survival/exploration option without leviathans.

hehe my approach to dealing with stalkers is pretty funny. I found out that they like to eat peepers so i'll grab like 10 of them, go into the kelp forest, equip it in my hotbar and hold one in my hand like a weapon and swim backwards :P

any stalker that tries to chase me gets a fish to the face.

When you say monsters, are you talking about every aggressive fish or just a few? You can actually avoid Reaper Leviathans if you know where they are and I think there is only one forced Ghost Leviathan, but you can wait for him to path further away and move past him.

Honestly, I find most of the designs silly and not all that scary. Reaper is the only one I think is at least intimidating. I recomend you find the Stasis Gun, it's amazing how powerful that thing is. It really defuses the idea of the fish being top of the food chain when you can just stasis them and do as you please.

but they respawn
I agree this is actually a horror game in disguise but over time you can learn to harness the threats in the world. Why did you refund it xD
