fix for gamebreaking teleportation glitch?

so i keep getting teleported 1000+ meters below the actual target portals, basically just dropping infinitely then until my vehicles break or until i run out of air.

happened with multiple teleporters for me randomly, and currently it happens consitently with the "main" teleporter on the bottom of the primary alien facility back to the gun island. Apart from this being pretty gamebreaking if someone doesnt save for some time (would trash any vehicles + storage + upgrades reliably), it just renders the teleporters completely useless.

Any fix for this, or any idea what's causing it / how to prevent it from happening? cant seem to avoid it at all atm

I have this problem as well. Whenever I enter a portal it randomly will drop me in falling nothing.

It may be wise to keep in the back of your mind to do a save before entering a portal. I have made a point to save each and every time I'm about to board my Cyclops with the Prawn, since it was mentioned there is ( was ) a similar type glitch with that, so as not to lose either my game progress or the game entirely.

But don't know if a fix has been mentioned for this. Though there still seem to be in game issues, I hope the devs will still look at correcting these even while working hard on the new expansion.

It's strange, I've never had this.

I have some other bug with a portral. I built a base in the portal and powered it with a nuclear reactor. I went into the portal while INSIDE the base. Even on the other side of the portal, it said I was still in the base. This gives infinite oxygen. It can be stopped by entering another base

I tried to stay away from portals for this very reason, having red about this issue (and others related to them, such as all water disappearing after using one) on the forums, and sure enough, when I finally decided to check them afterall, I got this on the third use of one. Luckily, I saved before using any of them so I lost no progress.

I am having the same problem too.... only it is one specific portal that just takes me to the void and I am saved just outside of it with no way to get anywhere else without death :( joy
