Where to find magnetite?

Anyone could help me tell me where I can find magnetite, I've searched everywhere and I do not find

Head west from the starting lifepod, and you should find a cave system that goes straight down (immediately after the area with red grass). I found all kinds of them in there.

Jelly shroom cave is your best bet

Have you been to those caves with the big pink glowing mushrooms? It's all over the ground there.

Also, West is the opposite direction of the Aurora, if you don't have a compass yet.

Lots down in the Jellyshroom caverns or near the thermal outcrops around the island with the precursor gun

From my best experience, there's a healthy supply of it in the Jellyshroom caves just south of the Safe Shallows. Be careful going down there as its below 200m inside to get to the bottom.

yeah the suggested above is the first real place to go and find some. there are other places later but they run much deeper and are a bit more dangerous overall.
