How does the coordinates work?
I have used F1 to see the current coordinates, because i need to find a location. But i don't really understand how to use it, because when i swim forward, all of the coordinates switch really fast. And that also happens any other way i swim.
I need to get to these coordinates: 64, -24, 382
but it's hard when the closest i can get is 64,-24, 770, because if i try to get Z to 382, all the other coordinates also changes...

First number is X axis, the middle is depth, and last is Y axis, a 2 D map. Say u want to get at 64, then u reach it, and then wanted to go to 382, just go straight North from that point you reached 64.

Edit: the second part needs clarification, if the first point 64, -24, 770 then you go straight down (South) to reach 64, -24, 382).

If say the first point was 64, -24, 100 you go up (North). To better understand look at a Subnautica map.

The co-ordinates are in a X,Z,Y format.

Z is height, so for most uses you can just ignore this one

X runs from West to East so -1000 is to the West and 1000 is to the East

Y runs from South to North so -1000 is to the South and 1000 is to the North.

So if you are at 64,-24, 770 and wanting to get to 64, -24, 382 then you are in the correct coordinates for West to East, you are at the correct coordinates for height, you want to move along the South-North axis to get from 770 to 382. So here you just want to head directly South to reach your destination <3

If i go straight down i just end up with having X at -10,5...

Sorry, you're going to have to clarify. If you go straight down using Left Control, then the middle coordinate will decrease. If you're changing the first or last coordinate then you aren't going straight down.

Do you have a compass by any chance? Can't really see why your X changed if you went straight South.

Guess you didn't find the blueprint yet, forget the X,Y,Z coordinates for the moment is my suggestion, and don't spoil your gaming experience by looking at coordinate for point of interest. Explore the game, it's fun. Follow the clues given.
