What does my moon-pool do this?
I struggled to find a space to fit my moon-pool and since it doesn't rotate (damn you Unknown Worlds!) I had to make do with it's current position on the edge of a cliff.

The upside is that only three legs appeared, presumably because the drop off in one corner is too far. No matter, it looks great (even if it would be structurally unsafe in real life).

So why does this happen sometimes when I return to my sea-base?

If this is a bug and it gets fixed will it then permanently look like image 2 with two floating legs?
I built my base on a plateau with only a finite amount of space, I don't have room to put the moon-pool anywhere else. If I spend a little time in my base and then exit the legs usually revert back to three as in image 1 which is the desired look.

If you start to deconstruct (literally no more than 'tap' "Q" on) a part of your base, then rebuild that bit, all legs of the nearby base parts (there is a range limit to this effect, but your base doesn't look big enough for it to likely be a problem) will reset. And again look like picture one.

Nice base btw. I think it is a bug, but at least its one that only takes a second to get rid of.

Yup, this. Had similar "problems" with my moonpools as well. Hell, whenever i came back from LR or ILZ to my base in the Shroom Forest at times the whole base, including foundations, where missing their support beams. So yea... that whole topic of support beams seems to get a bit wonky at times.

Yeah. I would gladly take crazy legs if that meant you could legitimatly rotate the thing in a polished practical manner.

Well, I guess Unknown Worlds are working on more bug fixes. Hopefully this is and the lag - though I suspect, in my case at least, that the lag problem occurs in an area with lots of lockers because I only get it when facing the section of my base used for storage.

The devs went on vacation as soon as they launched the game. So, EVENTUALLY, they will work on launch hotifxes.

For problems reported for years.
