All hatched species are smaller in size and are passive to the player and other creatures.
With excess eggs I assume he means eggs which go over the limit (10 per containment unit?). Also I'm sure you can hatch several eggs at the same time. I put in like 5 eggs all at once and they were all hatching just fine pretty much at the same time.
it will name the next egg you found)
I don´t know if it´s a bug or not.
Was one of them maybe a reefback egg? Because you need at least 2 stacked alien containment compartments or otherwise it despawns because the tank would be too small.
I got one like 2 days ago so they are definitely still there.
Guess my Alien Containment project isn't finished then. I'll have to go out and hunt myself some reefback eggs.
Do you know where the most likely drops are?
I honestly don't remember what the egg looked like. Wiki says like spadefish egg but that might be outdated of course.
