Console command to move seamoth?
Hi,

My seamoth seems to somehow have drifted about 100m down into the earth. Now I can't get to it.

Is there any console command or anything I can do to move it or maybe destroy it?

I tried F1 > Clip mapping > Suspend meshing as recommended in this post but that didn't allow me to move through the ground:

Thanks for any help.

Digging 100m of the terrain would be overkill imo. You might make the game run badly or bug
out.

I'd just make another one - they're not hard to make - or just spawn one in with console.

if you have to use the dig command a value of 10 might be enough.

I have dig 100ed the entire map piece by piece like bipedal pac-man.
Of course he could use dig 10, 10 times and tunnel to it. But why not just go all atomic bomb on it? Game breaks you, you break the game. Its all in fun.

Thank you so much for this! Looks like my seamoth got tackled by a Reaper or something as it was only on 18% health (I was near the back of the Aurora and left it there to go fetch my Cyclops).

I know this sounds lame but when I found my Seamoth underground with no way of getting it out this games immersion suddenly broke for me. Till then it was such an adventure and then bam, didn't even feel like playing anymore. It would have been much better if it had been destroyed because I could easily build 100 of them with my stash of resources but just the fact that I'd always have this blip on my overhead of a Seamoth lost at sea would have been so infuriating.

Now I have my little Seamoth back and no more annoying blip! Thanks again!

Oh, and for anyone else having this problem, to open the console, use F3 to open the window, F8 to enable the mouse, untick the "Disable Console" option, F8, F3, ~ (it's the button just left of 1) and then you can type console commands and press Enter.

Keep using ~ to open the console after each instruction.

Once done, F3, F8, tick "Disable Console", F8, F3, Save, Exit and Load the game again so that the area you dug out will be covered up again.

I wonder if my achievements will now be disabled since I used the console? I know it's that way in other games like Factorio.

Have to fully restart the game to reenable achievements I have found

Pity, because I was really enjoying getting the achievements for this game (don't care for most).
